Confident Kids Speech Therapy

The first step in beginning speech therapy is completing an evaluation to determine your child’s needs and areas of concern.

If your child has had a speech/language evaluation within the last 12 months, a new evaluation may not be necessary if you can provide a copy of the report. We can review the previous evaluation and develop updated goals and a treatment plan for a $50 review fee (this fee is not billable to insurance and must be paid out of pocket).

Evaluations: $250.00

Therapy Sessions:

• $75.00 per 30-minute session (in clinic)
• $90.00 per 30-minute session (in-home, includes $15.00 travel convenience fee)

If you would like to use your medical insurance, please text a photo of the front and back of your insurance card to 281-616-3839. We will verify your benefits and email you with your estimated responsibility.

After services begin, claims will be submitted to your insurance (if applicable). Any remaining balance will be invoiced. The card on file will be automatically charged for the balance. Invoices are sent by email, and payments are processed on the 15th of each month.

Evaluations are held at our Richmond office and are typically a one hour appointment.  This can vary depending on your child's attention span and cooperation.

Evaluation reports are typically completed within two weeks. A draft copy will be sent to you for review. Once approved, we will obtain any required referrals or authorizations and send the report to your child’s pediatrician if needed. 

* PLEASE NOTE: your child MUST be present at the evaluation.

Please provide accurate availability for your child in the intake paperwork. Changes to availability after submission may delay scheduling.

• At our Richmond office
• In your home
• At pre-schools or daycares
• ABA centers

* We can NOT provide therapy in public schools

Due to high demand for therapy services, particularly after-school hours, SPECIFIC APPOINTMENT TIMES CAN NOT BE GUARANTEED PRIOR TO COMPLETION OF THE EVALUATION PROCESS.

While we carefully review your availability during intake, therapist schedules change frequently and may be limited at the time therapy is recommended.

Completion of an evaluation does not guarantee placement in a specific time slot. Therapy scheduling is based on current therapist availability at the time services are authorized and ready to begin and location.

If preferred times are unavailable, families may:

• Accept an alternative available time
• Join a waitlist for preferred hours
• Decline services

We encourage families to discuss scheduling priorities with our intake team before proceeding with an evaluation.

Consistent attendance is essential for your child to make the most progress in therapy.

Missed appointments can:

• Slow your child’s progress
• Impact insurance approval for additional visits
• Prevent other children from receiving services

A $35 cancellation fee will apply if:
-24-hour notice is not provided, or

-a make-up session is not scheduled

• Repeated missed appointments may result in reduced services or removal from the schedule
